...the "Imaging Center of Choice", where patient comfort is our number one priority. Your doctor referred you to us for an MRI exam because our high-field MRI imaging system offers the convenience and reassurance of a fast and easy, yet completely thorough MRI exam.State Line Imaging houses a high-field "open-flair" MRI system. It was designed to make even the most difficult-to-scan patients (larger, pediatric, claustrophobic, etc.) feel more at ease, while keeping the physicians happy with superior image quality and faster scan service. The MRI system is used to create images of the human body's soft tissues, vessels and functioning organs. These images help physicians diagnose and address a wide variety of ailments. State Line Imaging is dedicated to providing the best quality service to both the patient and the ordering physician. Meeting the Patient's Needs
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a proven tool for medical diagnosis. Our MRI
system is designed to put you at ease by featuring a shorter, more open patient
aperture than any other MRI system. This enhances patient comfort and reduces
the anxiety some people experience in more enclosed spaces. Our ultra-short bore
MRI system provides the highest quality images for your doctor, with an exceptional
level of patient comfort for you. It is the shortest, most open high-field MRI
system available today! The short opening with front and back lighting, air flow
and other special patient features let you relax in complete comfort during your
exam. The high-field capabilities mean a speedy exam for you, with exceptional
detail and clinical accuracy for your doctor. When your doctor refers you or a
loved one to us for an MRI exam, rest assured our MRI system meets your needs
and your doctor's.Quality Images to Guide Your Care
MRI uses a magnetic field and radio waves to cause body tissues in the area being scanned to send out tiny radio signals. Each type of tissue sends out a different signal. When the system converts these signals into a computerized image, the result is a clear "picture" of the area your doctor needs to see. MRI gives very detailed images of nearly every part of the body. Fat and water in the body may look bright, air and bone may look dark. The radiologist will then determine from these bright and dark areas if the tissue is healthy. Clear pictures from MRI often provide information not available with other tests and may eliminate exploratory surgery. A Comfortable Experience for You
Thank to our system's advanced design features, your MRI should prove perfectly comfortable. In fact, you may even find the experience relaxing. And there are no known side effects. But if you have a medical implant, tell your doctor and our MRI technologist before your MRI is scheduled. Many implants pose no problem, but implants that are mechanically, electronically or magnetically activated such as pacemakers and some hearing aids could be affected if special precautions are not taken. Our technologists know how to help. Pregnant women should also consult their doctor before scanning.
